COHEN’S Hotel is located in a magnificent 130-year-old historic building, situated in the heart of Haifa at 26 Shderot HaTzionut. The hotel was originally built in 1893 as part of the city’s German Templar colony and remains one of Haifa’s most unique and impressive buildings to this day.
Over the years, the building has undergone a meticulous preservation process that revived its original architectural features. The restoration included the restoration of stunning ceiling paintings created by the Templer artist Johannes Pfender, which are an integral part of the artistic and historical atmosphere of the place. The blend of the building’s history with the modern hospitality atmosphere makes a stay at the hotel a unique and moving experience.
